Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten new questions to tickle the old gray matter, with topics ranging from famous rivers to world records to fly patterns.
The last quiz was another toughie, with just one perfect score, achieved by Nate H. Good on ye, man! However, an even dozen people scored 90%: Stephen Fitch, BillR, Shaun Baggitt, Kevin B, Eric J, Jeremy Black, Dave F., Pete Hawes, Bob T, Dan Gillies, John Petsch, and Clint Brumitt. The most common score held steady at 60%, and the most missed question revealed that just 40% of you knew that a robalo is a snook. Many others missed the true/false question about a 12-year-old prodigy, who is, in fact, a girl named Maxine McCormick.
The winner of this week’s random drawing will again receive a free download of the excellent new video “Modern Nymphing: European Inspired Techniques,” featuring Devin Olsen and Lance Egan.
The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), and recipient of this great video was Martin, who bowled one right down the middle.
So post your score below for a chance to win a video that will help you become a better nymph fisherman.
