Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got a new set of ten questions about geography, fishing records, and even a little theology.

On the last quiz the number of perfect score doubled from the previous one, from two to four. Let’s hear it for John, Charlie, Mark Pfetzer and Stephen Fitch. There were three 95% scores, and three times that many 90%ers. The most common score jumped up to 70%, and the most missed question revealed that just 33% of you knew that the Cow Dung is a wet fly.

The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive an a copy of Tom Rosenbauer’s brand new book Fly Fishing for Trout: The Next Level, the perfect book for anglers who want to take the next step toward becoming an expert.

The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), and recipient of a springtime fly selection was Kyle, who scored in the most popular category.

So post your score below for a chance to win a video that will help you become a better nymph fisherman.

Good luck!

  1. Good fun quizes but us brits have no chance with these….or this one doesn’t anyway. I tend to guess a few right mind you!

  2. 50% got half of them right. I just saw Lefty Kreh in Syracuse and saw him casting with his rright hand so I got that one right.

  3. 50%. The things you think you know . . . At least I had a buzzer beater, even if it was after the Big Dance.
