Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got another set of ten questions that will tickle the old gray matter and see what you know about geography, angling literature, fish species, and famous fly patterns.
On the last quiz the number of perfect scores fell from four the previous week to just one. Everyone bow down to Hal Shapiro. There was also just a single 90%, earned by one of the Usual Suspects, Stephen Fitch. The most common score dropped to 50%, and the most missed question showed that just 32% of you knew that the world-record brookie weighed 14 pounds 8 ounces, and 35% of you thought the fish was even bigger!
The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive an a copy of Tom Rosenbauer’s brand new book Fly Fishing for Trout: The Next Level, the perfect book for anglers who want to take the next step toward becoming an expert.
The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), and recipient of this great book was Conner, who rolled one right down the middle.
So post your score below for a chance to win a video that will help you become a better nymph fisherman.
