Take an All-New Phil Monahan Fly-Fishing Trivia Challenge 04.28.16

Welcome to another edition of our (sorta kinda) weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got ten brand-new questions about everything from fly names to geography to fish biology.

On the last quiz, there were two perfect scores, achieved by the exotically named Zachary Van Niman and Nico Sunseri. Six respondents missed perfection by a single question. The most common score dropped a tic, to a 50%.

The randomly chosen winner of this week’s quiz will receive his or her choice of an Orvis Fly Selection, featuring patterns chosen by Orvis-endorsed professional guides. The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org) was Rick A, who was oh-so close to the magic 100%.

So post your score below for a chance at some great stickers.

Good luck!

  1. 90%! Not much can beat an elkhair caddis. Half my box is full of those things. Just a couple more weeks of runoff in Montana and I’ll be on Rock Creek with one of them chasing cutties.

  2. 40% That is what happens when you take a quiz after you just wake up from a nap! I’m going back to sleep!! lol
