Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly trivia challenge, in which we test your knowledge of all things fly fishing and where you might learn a thing or two about this sport we love. This week, we’ve got 20 questions–10 new, 10 classic–about official state fish. How many can you get right? Most are pretty obvious, but there are a few sneaky ones.
The last quiz must have been relatively easy, as we saw a big jump in perfect scores, to four. Give a hearty golf clap for Robert, Stephen Fitch, Erik, and Judy W. Three others scored 90%, and the most common score held steady at an anemic 50%.
The winner of this week’s random drawing will receive an a copy of Tom Rosenbauer’s completely revised Orvis Fly-Fishing Guide. I edited this book, so I can assure you that it’s fabulous.
The winner of our last quiz (as determined by random.org), and recipient of a copy of Jay Zimmerman’s great new book The Best Bass Flies: How to Tie and Fish Them, was Michael, who just beat the most common score.
So post your score below for a chance to win a great book.
