This week, we offer some tips on trout fishing in lakes from Phil Rowley, one of the top stillwater experts in North America. I asked Phil to host the stillwater chapter on from the Orvis Fly Fishing Learning Center because I have to admit that I’m just not very good at fishing in lakes. Luckily, I know guys like Phil, who have dedicated years to figuring out the best ways to fish still waters.

Any information on “fly and bubble” fishing in ponds and lakes?
Hi all,
Been fishing since I was able to hold a rod, been hooked (pardon the pun) ever since. Now my kids are starting to fish (as if there was any doubt LOL) and I was wondering if anyone ever used these for the kiddies rods? I was thinking of grabbing a few myself to be honest. They do not seem to be expensive, just wondering if anyone uses them?
