In this excellent video from “The New Fly Fisher,” Jesse Haller teaches the essentials of European nymphing on the famed trout waters of the Farmington River in Connecticut. A product developer at Orvis, Jesse is the driving force behind our new line of tightline-nymphing products. The river conditions were tough–due to heavy rains and high water–but this deadly nymphing technique helps Jesse and host Colin McKeown overcome the issue and successfully land some trout. There’s a ton of great information in this full-length show!

This is one of the best episodes I’ve seen. Thank you
One question, if as you move out from initial casting distance, the depth changes, do you need to adjust leader length?
Sometimes it is not always easy or practical to change lines during the day. What are the issues of doing regular casting with a nymphing line?
How do you retrieve the answers to questions asked here?
