Here’s a gorgeous short video focused one woman’s search for solitude in nature on a trout stream in New Mexico. Maddie Brenneman does a great job explaining what she finds so rewarding and fulfilling about fly fishing, and she has clearly discovered a little slice of paradise in a place many of us rarely think of as a trout haven. However, I suspect that my friend Doc Thompson would offer to educate any of us who doubt the streams of his home state.
