Video: Cancelled on the Clark Fork

I’m heading out to Missoula, Montana today for the 2014 Orvis Guide Rendezvous, so it seems appropriate to post this great video from that part of the world. “Cancelled” is about some guides who find their trip called off and rediscover the fun that comes from handling the cork side of a fly rod instead of working the oars. It features cool time lapses, high fives, and censored cursing.

  1. A lot of people drive by over 100 miles of the Clark Fork to fish other Montana rivers and never realize the quality of fishery they are missing. One day I shared the Madison with hundreds of fishermen and the next day had the Clark Fork to myself and caught the same amount of fish on each river.

  2. My son-in-law and I are leaving South Carolina tomorrow for three days of fishing with Joe Cummings, Classic Journey Outfitters. We can’t wait. He doesn’t need to worry about us cancelling on him. Then we’re going to the “Down the Hatch” Festival in Missoula on Saturday.
PS- He does some great video, too!!

  3. Thanks for the comments. We love sharing videos with anglers.

Mike – Great trip this week. Enjoy the Down the Hatch festival tonight.
