Corsica is a mountainous island in the Mediterranean Sea, which belongs to France, but is closer to Italy. I have never heard of trout there until I saw this video, which features (according to the video description) a rare subspecies of brown trout, Salmo macrostigma. Only genetic analysis can tell the difference between these fish and standard browns, but S. macrostigma ranges from North Africa through a few places in Mediterranean. In any case, the rivers and the trout (including some brookies(?!)) are gorgeous.
