Video: Chocolate Stage Browns on Big Streamers

We’ve been having some rain this week, and the Battenkill is getting high and muddy, so this video caught my eye. Jake Patton captures the experience of throwing big, meaty streamers for trout in his local Pennsylvania streams, which are running high and “chocolaty.” I think I’m going to try some of this after work today.

  1. Nice video, but that water didnt look very chocolaty. I wish our local rivers were even close to that clear.

  2. That’s not “chocolaty.”
My beloved West Branch looked like a Starbucks Espresso Roast this morning.
