Capt. Conway Bowman of Bowman Bluewater Guides & Outfitters, is pretty hard on his tackle. In this video, he talks to Hutch Hutchinson, Orvis Southwestern Regional Business manager, about the punishment he has inflicted on his Mirage fly reel since he first received the prototype back in 2007. After landing more than 500 big-game fish—and when Conway says “big game,” he means it—the reel is still going strong.
