Video: “Drop Off Panic” in Patagonia

Here’s a killer video from northern Patagonia, where the annual migration of pejerrey minnows (also known as Argentinian silversides, Odontesthes bonariensis) causes big browns and rainbows to set up below drop-offs, where they can pick off the little baitfish. Floating patterns work well, and you can see some incredible vertical strikes, with the fish taking to the air. The fishing looks like a blast!
