Here’s a gorgeous trailer for “Waypoints,” an upcoming film from Jim Klug and Chris Patterson of Confluence Films. They are trying something cool and new for the release:
We are very excited about the NEW Confluence Films movie project, WAYPOINTS, scheduled for release and national and international premiere on Friday, November 8, 2013. Similar to DRIFT, RISE and CONNECT, WAYPOINTS is a multi-segmented fly fishing film shot all around the world. With segments that include St. Brandon’s Atoll in the Indian Ocean, Patagonian Chile, Southeast Alaska for Steelhead, India for Golden Mahseer, and the jungles of Venezuela for payara, WAYPOINTS promises to be our finest, most exotic and most ambitious project ever!
For the new film, we are planning a synchronized, nationwide and international “world premiere night” on Friday, November 8, 2013. We anticipate somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 to 100 premiere events and screenings that will take place on this specific date – throughout the country and throughout the world! By synchronizing the premiere, this will give everyone “the very first chance to view the new Confluence movie” in your home town as a part of “the Biggest Night of Fly Fishing Film in the World!”

Looks like an awesome film. Cant wait to check it out.
Nothing like a few bux to go fish – that little montage of motherships tells the story.
Some suggestions to Orvis – if you want to help them promote this thing, put a link or two to their site – why do I have to copy it off the screen?
Suggestion to the Confluence people – make your URL on the screen hot.
Easy peasy.
Tight lines – looks like it is gonna be one helluva flick!
sweet trailer got me pumped for some fishing
Awesome trailer, can’t wait to watch it!
