I’m not quite sure who these folks at Mouche are, but they clearly know how to have a good time fly fishing in their native Quebec and they have some killer cinematography chops. This video covers a lot of ground, from Atlantic salmon fishing with two-handed rods, to bass fishing in lakes, to casting into a blitz of saltwater predators. Summer in Eastern Canada seems like a good time to be alive with a fly rod in your hand.

I recognize Geneviève Fournier, from Gaspé, fishing the Murdoch Pool on the York River. She caught a salmon there on June 10th, the day before I caught my very first Atlantic salmon, in that same pool. Nice memories !
