Video: 6(ish) Steps To Surviving Yellowstone National Park with Hank Patterson

I guided in Yellowstone National Park for a summer back in the mid-1990s, and I saw tourists doing things that made me shake my head and wonder how they’d survived into adulthood. This year has already seen one tourist put a bison calf in his minivan (which, sadly, led to the animal being euthanized), and more recently, a woman got head-butted by an elk. (See below.) I guess these dang tourists still need to be educated.

And who better to do it than the World’s Greatest Fishing Guide®, Hank Patterson? In this video, Hank explains exactly what you can do to stay safe when you’re among all these wild animals. Warning: There are a bunch of bleeps in here, so preview it before you expose it to the children.
