Video: How to Find Trout Near In-Stream Wood

Here, Dave explains how fallen timber and other “in-stream woody debris” affect current flow and depth and then shows where you should look for trout. Fly-fishing around fallen trees and other woody debris can be extremely productive, especially if you know where the best trout lies are.
