Video: Lightning Crashes on a Pike Lake

Here’s a fun video of Dave Jensen, of Jensen Fly Fishing, goofing around with a fiberglass rod on the backwaters of a pike lake. It looks as if the coming storm has made the fish hyperactive, and that last take produces some serious giggles.

Editor’s note: We do not advocate fishing during a thunder storm at any time—here are some good rules of thumb for staying safe—but I also assume that someone who spends as much time on the water as Dave Jensen knows the right time to stop. Distances on the Great Plains are a mystery to me, so I have no idea how far off that strike is.
