Joe was our wrestling coach and teacher in HS. When I was in college @Penn State I took I fly & bait casting course from him and learned so much and it improved my techniques so much. I still love to fly fish and really am glad I have had the chance to meet and learn from him. He is a true influence on the sport.
I’ve seen the full-length documentary twice, and could watch it over and over! Filled with laughter, learning and tenderness it truly emulates the writings of Sir Edward Grey of Fallodon in his eponymous book “Fly Fishing”. Joe Humphreys is a gift to the world, simply doing and sharing what he enjoys the most – where and how he finds his peace. The Bells did a tremendous job on this documentary! The cinematography and the music is fantastic – no one leaves the theatre without full souls. I highly recommend it to everyone from every walk of life! LIVE the Stream!
