It’s not that often that you come across a stunning fly-fishing video that’s really about something much bigger than this sport we love. “My Mom Vala” profiles a single mom from Reykjavík, Iceland, who runs her family’s fly-fishing lodge in remote Greenland during the short season. This video fits in perfectly with the message of our 50/50 on the Water campaign, which is focused on achieving gender parity on the water. As the father, I love Vala’s parenting style, and I can’t wait to share this with my daughter.
