Video: The Orvis Guide to Fly Fishing, Episode II –
Bass on a Fly

Here’s the second episode of “The Orvis Guide to Fly Fishing” to be published on Youtube. (We told you about Episode I and the series last week.) In Episode II, Tom Rosenbauer focuses on chasing bass—both largemouth and smallmouth—with a fly rod, covering everything from the tackle you’ll need, the flies that work best, and the tactics that will produce the most fish. Plus there’s a section on casting, featuring our own Peter Kutzer.

Largemouths on a fly are a blast.

  2. Watching this never gets old. My main issue when it comes to fly fishing for bass is the fly rod. Over the years, I have probably owned and sold a handful of 7 & 8 weight rods.

  3. Thank you so much for your great episodes and for letting us travel along with you as we learn! I need to go out more and spend some time fishing, which is not that easy as I am a university student. However, since I have found https://uk.edubirdie.com for my homework needs, I hope to have some free time. It’s high time to apply some knowledge that I’ve learned from you! 😉
