Here’s a great PBS profile of famed angler Cecilia “Pudge” Kleinkauf, who has been leading women’s adventures in Alaska for more than twenty-five years. She’s also the author of four books on fly fishing, including Fly Fishing Women Explore Alaska and Pacific Salmon Flies: New Ties & Old Standbys. She recently underwent a life-altering experience, and fly fishing helped her turn even more to the sport she loves.

She explains it all well.
Quite a lady and she lays out a good line
I have met Pudge through our fly fishing club and she is simply fantastic!
Wow.
Woo Hoo, she captures the heart of fly fishing exactly how I feel about this incredible sport! Please keep continuing these kinds of video spots for women, PBS! Love it!
She is a kindred spirit of us Alaskan women who enjoy the fulfillment of a good day on the water. Thank You PBS.
