Here’s a cool video from photographer John Sherman and editor Steven Yochum takes us along on a trip to Siberia, where anglers catch big trout and taimen and eat some of the more interesting shore lunches you’ve ever seen. Here’s Sherman’s description of the action:
The Russian Far East was one of the most wild sea-run destinations I have experienced. It’s home to amur tigers, sea-run taimen, cherry salmon, pink salmon, and sea-run dollies.
This trip was part of a photography book project, which Sherman has been working on for 14 years, to document the world’s best sea-run char and salmon fishing.
