Video: Solitude in the British Columbia Backcountry

Here’s the latest episode of the new fly-fishing web series created by Scientific Anglers and Fly Fusion TV, in which hosts Jim McLennan and Derek Bird are joined by social-media manager Paula for a long drive into the backcountry on logging roads. They are looking for cutthroat trout that rarely, if ever, have seen a fly, and they sure do find them. Some of the shots of fish eating dry flies are spectacular, but the pièce de résistance is the bully that Paula lays into at the end.

  1. Love this River! Thank you Fly Fusion for not dropping its name, one of the few unspoiled and unguided places left, hopefully it stays that way.
