Québécois angler Alexis Pageau traveled halfway around the world to Tasmania to find huge brown trout. It took him several weeks of research and testing, but he finally found his quarry in the Tyenna River, a tributary of the Derwent, west of Hobart. It’s a pretty small river, but it clearly holds some big trout. This video starts off slowly, but it’s got a helluva finish.

The head on that fish is truly impressive, what a beautiful brown.
