Video: The Perfect New Zealand Backcountry River


The latest video from Andrew Harding (a.k.a. “troutboynz“) offers some spectacular fishing action and a long series of stunning brown trout that ate nymphs and dry flies. Andrew and his buddy, Jack Kos, head into the hills of the lower North Island for a quick overnight trip. High wind and rain the night before made for a slow and late start, but the second day dawned fine with near perfect conditions for spotting fish in the gin-clear, flood-prone water. The video is nine minutes long, but there are a couple a fun angling stories included and I never got bored. . . .
