We posted the first teaser for “Through the Guides” more than a year ago, and then there was a second taste back in November. At last, the complete film by The Noble Lab is available. The project profiles three guides: former Trout Bum of the Week Alvin Dedeaux of All Water Guides in Texas; Greg Dini of Fly Water Expeditions in Florida and Lousiana; and Hilary Hutcheson of Glacier Angler in Montana. Each talks about what drew them to the sport and to the job, as well as about the joys that come from teaching others how to fly fish. I think Alvin puts it best when he says, “I don’t guide because I love to fish. I guide because I love to guide.”
