Fly-fishing for marlin is not something new, but anglers chasing these big fish usually head to Mexico or Central America. This trailer for an upcoming film by TwoFisted Heart Productions is focused on three anglers who test themselves and their gear against big marlin much closer to home:
Three years ago, adrenaline junkie Art Webb suffered a rock-climbing fall and barely escaped with his life. During his recovery, Art found a substitute thrill: pursing marlin and other billfish with a fly rod off the coast of his home town, Virginia Beach. As Art began to tell his friends about his experiences offshore, two fellow fishing fanatics–Brian and Colby Trow, of Mossy Creek Fly Fishing–could not resist. This is a story of these three anglers on a fly-fishing adventure to catch marlin in their backyard waters of Virginia.
I can’t wait to see the finished film!
