Dave and Amelia Jensen, of Jensen Fly Fishing, have released another cool compilation of short vignettes from their Instagram feed, and this one features a bunch of ridiculous battles with trout in some very tight quarters. The Jensens seem to have a particular fondness of these kinds of tiny “tussock streams” on New Zealand’s South Island, and I think you can understand why.
Neat video and beautiful fish. Very agile footwork.
I would step in a hole, trip over a rock, break my rod, get tangled in the brush and drown. The trout would have a hero picture taken with me and then release me, belly up, to float away in the stream.
