When New Zealand-based On the Fly Productions—husband-and-wife team Carl McNeil and Jeanie Ackley—released “Casts that Catch Fish” nine years ago, they brought gorgeous cinematography to the how-to genre. By combining high-quality production values, high-end graphics, and cutting-edge editing techniques, they were able to show casting in a whole new light. To make things even better, Carl demonstrated some incredibly cool casting and mending techniques that go beyond the basics. The five videos presented here are just a taste, lo-res ones at that.
