Video Tuesday Tip: How to Tie a Pike Leader


If you have a hankering to chase toothy predators such as northern pike, you’d better have gear that can deal with sharp teeth and can pull a strong fish out of heavy weeds. In the video above, our friends from Wollaston Lake Lodge—who also run the website Pike on the Fly—show you exactly how to tie the necessary knots to make the heavy leader and then attach it to a wire trace and a big fly.
