Video:The Stimi Hatch—Small Stream Fly Fishing

Ivan Orsic from Yukon Goes Fishing is back with a fun little film about casting Stimulators while fishing a tiny backcountry stream for wild brown trout. Here’s his description of the scene:

Runoff is in full effect. So, Tanner Smith and I found ourselves creeking it on a June morning in Colorado. Flows were a little higher than normal and mayflies were hatching. Not the worst recipe for success. But, like any respectable brown trout living in a small stream, they’d rather eat steak than salad. Mayflies are like salad. Stimis are steak.
