A couple weeks ago, we asked you to post your best photos of dads outdoors on Facebook and Instagram for a chance to win one of three great fly rods: a Helios 3, a Recon, or a Clearwater model. We received many great images, and from those we’ve chosen our ten finalists. Now you get to help pick the winner.
Take a gander at the top 10 photos in the widget below (you’ll find larger versions below), and then choose your three favorites. The photographer whose image receives the most total votes will win the Helios 3, while second place gets a Recon, and third place a Clearwater.
We’ll also give a pair of Orvis Nippers to one randomly selected voter at the end of the voting. To be eligible to win the nippers, you MUST leave a comment about the photos in the comments section below. (That’s the only way we’ll know who you are, since the poll widget doesn’t collect data on voters.)
Voting is open until NOON (12:00 p.m. EDT) on Saturday, June 20. We will announce the winners on Father’s Day, June 21. So choose your three favorites, and then leave a comment!

Introducing the more challenged people and children to keep this art of fishing from generation to generation. That is what life is about! My father introduced fishing to my brothers and sisters at a young age. My husband introduced me to fly fishing. I love it!

For me, the black and white image by Christopher Stelter of a Dad? clearly absolutely immersed in the teaching with a hands on passion to a yound lad & the powerfully emotive ‘no limits’ shot by Mike Burnside and Kaitlin Boyer’s beautiful scenic pic of dad and daughter together; summed up much of what flyfishing is all about…and it’s often not about the fish…
Thank you for the kind words Justin. That’s my son Jack and my Dad (who is actually is a retired teacher). He taught my brother and I how to fish almost 45 years ago and now seeing him teach my son is truly priceless.
