On Saturday, Vermont’s regular trout season ended, which means that everyone around here is slightly depressed and is reliving the highlights of their year on the water. To make ourselves–and you–feel better, we’ve decided to launch a cool photo contest on Instagram and give away the new 6-weight Helios 3 fly rod. The 9-foot 6-weight is one of three new additions to the Helios 3 lineup–joining brand-new 7-weights and 9-weights–and it’s available in both D (distance) and F (finesse) models.
Here’s how the contest works:
- Post on Instagram the best fly-fishing photos you took during 2017.
- Add the hashtags #AccurateFromAnywH3re and #H3sixweight (you must have both hashtags to qualify)
Note: Only post photos that you took and only those from this year! There is no limit to the number of entries, but only one image per photographer will be chosen for the finals.
So start combing through your images from the fishing season to see if you can pick a winner!
Next Monday, we will choose ten finalists and have you vote on the winner. To sweeten the pot, one random voter will win a Battenkill Disc reel of his or her choice.
Again, the contest begins today, November 5, 2017, and runs through Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Good luck!
