Show us your dogs on the water!
Photos by Dylan Tucker, Jake Forsline, Lone Mountain Ranch, and Lisa Savard.
For the last the last month or so, Orvis has been celebrating the dogs that we have running around the office. Don’t miss our “Working Dogs” video, which profiles a few of our canine colleagues.
Many of us also like to bring our dogs fishing with us, so we’ve decided to launch a photo contest to showcase these furry fly fishers. If you’ve got a great image of a dog on the water, then you can win great prizes for you and the pup!
Here’s how it works:
1.Find your best pictures of a dog or dogs in a fly-fishing setting (on the water, in a boat, etc.).
3. Post your photos to the Orvis Facebook page or to Instagram with the hashtags #orvisflyfishing and #welovedogs. (You must use both!)
After the contest closes on March 20th, we’ll go through all the photos posted and pick 10 finalists. Then we’ll let you vote for the winner!
The winner will receive a Recon Fly Rod for him- or herself plus an Orvis Sunbrella® Indoor/Outdoor ComfortFill Platform Dog Bed for the pooch in their life.

We’ll also give a pair of Orvis Nippers and an Orvis Silicone Dog Bowl to one randomly selected voter at the end of the voting.
So let’s see your best dogs-on-the-water photos!

The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the USA who are 18 or older. (We apologize to our readers in Canada and overseas; Click here for an explanation of why we have to do this.)

Not fair. Even Tom Rosennaur says most dogs don’t belong near a trout stream. Bird dogs help get fly tying materials

This picture is so expressive! When I look at this picture, I see his lab looking at his master, saying….”Don’t worry, I got your back!” Enjoy the picture in black & white also!
