The legendary Ben O. Williams joins Reid from his home in Livingston, Montana. Ben is an icon: a writer, photographer, naturalist, conservationist, artist, and bird dog trainer. He discusses a life in the uplands, his love for Hungarian partridge, and his many experiences with noteworthy outdoors people. A great conversation with a legendary bird hunter.
Hello, my name is Keith Bukovich and I am with the Washtenaw County (MI) Chapter of Pheasants Forever. Each year we hold a fundraising banquet to raise monies so that we can carry out our mission of habitat creation, etc. At our fundraising banquets we auction off various items and one such popular category of items are outdoor/hunting books signed by their author. I personally own a mint copy of “American Wingshooter” that was written by Ben O. Williams a could of decades ago. I would like to mail this book to Ben, have him sign it, and then return it to me. I will in turn donate it to my Pheasants Forever Chapter to be used as an auction item at our next fundraising banquet. Will you be able to help me with this? (Sadly, Charley Waterman who did an introduction to the book passed in 2005.)
