The first video in our series on getting started in fly fishing focuses on how to rig your fly rod. This includes assembling the rod itself, attaching the fly reel, stringing the rod, and adding a leader to your line. Once you’ve completed these steps, all you need to do is add a fly, and you’re ready to catch fish!
In the second part of our series, we’ll cover the knots you’ll need to know to tie on a fly and to add tippet to your leader.
How do you switch the reel from right hand to left hand? I’m left handed and reel with my right hand. I can t find any info anywhere on this. Thanks!
